1. Information we collect

NFC Dog Tag collects only the pet information you enter (name, photo, allergies, vet info) and the owner's contact details. If a finder shares their location, that location is used once to notify the owner and is not stored.

2. How we use information

Collected data is used only to notify the owner when a pet is found and to enable sharing within the owner's family. We never sell or share your data with third parties.

3. Data storage

Pet information is stored encrypted on Supabase (US) servers. A local cache is also kept on your device for offline access.

4. Location data

The finder page (/p/...) requests browser geolocation. That coordinate is transmitted once with the owner notification and is never persisted on our servers.

5. Notifications

We send push notifications, SMS, or email when your pet is found. You can choose your notification method in the app.

6. Analytics

We collect only anonymous launch statistics and crash reports to improve app quality. Pet information is never used in analytics.

7. Children

This app is not directed at children under 13.
